The English band Marillion released a new version of the song "Easter" in time for Easter. The track originally appeared on the 1989 album Season's End and was inspired by a poem by W.B. Yeats entitled Easter 1916.
The new version, recorded directly from the musicians' homes during quarantine, was shared on the band's YouTube channel, along with a message from the members: “We hope everyone is safe and healthy and obeying the rules your country has set. As it’s Easter weekend, Mark [Kelly] had the cool idea of us getting together virtually to record a new version of “Easter” in our homes. Hope this puts a smile on your faces. Thanks to Mr. Hunter and Mr. Kennedy for the technical wizardry.”
