Classic album turns 24 in 2018
Marillion has released a deluxe edition of the classic album Brave (1994) this Monday, the 12th. In addition to the remastered original work, the re-release includes a March 1994 recording from Paris featuring nine previously unreleased versions. Recorded on April 29, 1994, at a show in La Cigale, Paris, the tracks have recently been remixed by Michael Hunter. Originally released in 1996 on the double live album "Made Again," the content available on digital platforms comes with nine previously unreleased versions of tracks, including re-editions of favorites such as "No One Can," "Easter," "Waiting A Happen," and " Hooks In You."
The songs were recorded during a show at La Cigale and have now been remixed by Michael Hunter. The re-releases include classics such as “No One Can”, “Easter”, “Waiting to Happen” and “Hooks In You”.
At the time of its release, Brave topped the UK charts. It is the seventh studio album by the progressive rock band and was ranked by Classic Rock as one of the 30 Best Albums of the 1990s and also as one of the 30 Best Rock Concept Albums.
