Singer Marianne Faithfull has been hospitalized in London since Thursday after testing positive for COVID-19.
The 73-year-old artist, whose biggest hit "As Tears Go By," and who became one of the great muses of rock 'n' roll for big stars like Mick Jagger , for example, is, however, "stable and responding well to treatment," according to Billboard .
According to a friend of Faithfull's, the singer was in isolation; however, it is likely that one of her nurses was responsible for passing the virus to the singer.
