The band has shows scheduled for October in Guatemala, Colombia, and El Salvador
According to Billboard , the Swedish band Marduk is banned from entering Guatemala.
The decision came after a vote in Congress, where by 87 votes to 13, it was decided that the band and anyone related to them are prohibited from entering and performing in the country, on the grounds that Marduk offends "the morality of the Christian people of Guatemala.".
The discussion has also reached Colombia and El Salvador, where attempts are being made to ban the band's shows as they tour Latin America promoting their 14th album, Viktoria , which was released in June by Century Media.
