The members of Claustrofobia have been based in the United States since before the pandemic. Currently signed to Metal Assault Records , the label responsible for releasing the album Unleeched , the band notices differences in the way Brazilian and foreign bands work.

In a new excerpt from the interview with Wikimetal , vocalist and guitarist Marcus D'Angelo spoke about the history of the band he founded alongside his brother, drummer Caio D'Angelo , in the 1990s. "It was always a matter of a lot of struggle, achievements, and merit, so it was very difficult for us to stay in Brazil. We had an opportunity, we went for it, and we came," he said.

One of the main differences noted by the musician is the level of involvement of the bands in the development of their own careers abroad. "Here, the bands don't do anything, they just wait for someone else to do it," he observed. "There are about five companies involved in making the business happen, whereas we used to do everything ourselves."
