Marcos Filippi , affectionately known as " Diet the founder of Comando Rock , passed away this Wednesday, the 18th. Initial reports indicate his death was due to a heart attack.
Diet helped many bands on their journey defending the style of music he loved. Besides this passion for heavy metal, the journalist was also known for his love of Santos Football Club .
Several personalities from the music scene have already spoken out, including the vocalist of Salário Mínimo , China Lee , the guitarist of VIPER , Felipe Machado , as well as the members of Genocídio , Murillo Leite and Wanderley Perna .
Comando Rock magazine , created in 2003, maintained a strong partnership with Wikimetal .
