Beatles ' hit "Hey Jude" sold for US$910,000, approximately R$4.6 million, at an online auction. The manuscript was written by Paul McCartney and used in the 1968 recording.

Last June 10th marked the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four , and the auction took place on that date to honor the British musicians' legacy. The final bid for the sheet music was five times higher than the estimated figures.

Julien's Auctions auction featured 250 Beatles memorabilia items, including guitars, vinyl records, and some autographed items.

The auctioned manuscript contains parts of the lyrics and notes from the band to help with the recording of the song.
