On his second album, Manuche takes a break from the blues, leans more towards rock, and innovates in his repertoire
Manuche Mantenha a Fé , on May 26th, marking the beginning of a new cycle for the band, with a more mature sound.
The album features a different repertoire from their first work, Livre , with a heavier rock sound. Leading the band are musicians Tom Gil , who is also Sepultura , and Feeu Moucachen .
Sepultura's leader, Andreas Kisser , has followed Manuche's trajectory since its formation. “The album brings a new dimension to the band. It's a heavier album, with more attitude. With blood in their eyes, Manuche has toughened up. It has a new face, more realistic and aggressive, in the good sense of the band. ' Mantenha a Fé' is a very important album for the musicians' careers. I'm rooting for them. They are musicians who have quality and unique things that other bands don't have and that can be showcased in today's music scene,” says Andreas.
In addition to Tom Gil (harmonica and vocals) and Feeu Moucachen (guitar), Manuche features performances by Luis Capano (drums), Fábio Sá (bass), Gustavo Barros (guitar and strings on the track “Do Lado de Fora”), Renato Zanuto (hammonds and minimoogs), Jamah, Éricka Nascimento and Rodrigo Mozart (backing vocals).
There are nine singles, eight in Portuguese and one instrumental. The track "Pressa de Você" already has a music video. Watch it below:
