Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio has confirmed the band's plans for a new album. Their last studio album was The Lord of Steel , released in 2012.
Speaking to Metal Talk [via Blabbermouth ], the musician said that the release of the group's 12th album will happen in the near future. Furthermore, he guaranteed that the tracks are "heavy" and "brutal".
“We’re working on new music and, as soon as we release it, you’ll remember that it’s worth waiting for good things. All I have to say about the new material is that it’s heavy, brutal, and has everything you expect from Manowar.”
The Blood Of Our Enemies Tour shows , and because of this, there are several stages involved in the band's planning.
Manowar will feature guitarist Michael Angelo Batio and drummer Dave Chedrick on their new album. Both joined the group in 2022. This will be the first work of the new lineup.
In 2024, the band came to Brazil and performed shows in Curitiba , Belo Horizonte, and Recife. There was also a date scheduled for Rio de Janeiro, but it was eventually canceled due to low ticket sales.
In 2023, there was only one performance at Espaço Unimed in São Paulo .
