Karl Logan faces six misdemeanor charges.
The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office reported that Karl Logan was arrested for possession of child pornography. The arrest of the guitarist for the iconic power metal band Manowar took place on August 9th.
The arrest record indicates that Logan, 53, faces six counts of third-degree felony sexual exploitation of a minor. That is, when a person possesses material containing a visual representation of minors engaged in sexual activity.
The $35,000 bail was paid on the day of the arrest.
Logan joined Manowar in 1994, replacing David Shankle , who had been in the group since 1989. He recorded four studio albums with the band.
