Manila Road emerged in the late 1970s
Mark 'The Shark' Shelton , frontman of Manilla Road , has passed away at the age of 60. The news was announced by the band's vocalist, Bryan Patrick .

I am very sorry to announce today that my longtime brother and best friend since 1981 has passed through the gates of Valhalla.

The band was touring Europe and had performed the day before at Headbangers Open Air in Germany. The cause of death has not yet been released.
