Måneskin won a VMA on Tuesday night, the 12th, in the category of "Best Rock Video" with the surreal music video for "THE LONELIEST" .

The Italian band that gained popularity after winning Eurovision 2021 was competing with rock and metal giants in the same category. “THE LONELIEST” was vying for the award against videos for “The Teacher” by Foo Fighters , “Tippa My Tongue” by Red Hot Chili Peppers , “Lost (Original Version)” by Linkin Park , “Lux Æterna” by Metallica , and “You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween” by Muse .

This is the second VMA won by Måneskin, who in 2022 won the "Best Alternative Music Video" category with "I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE".

Performance of “Honey (Are U Coming?)” at the VMAs

In addition to taking home an award, Måneskin's participation in the VMAs also featured an energetic performance of his new single, "Honey (Are U Coming?)" .

The band appeared at the awards ceremony with a new look, with members Damiano David (vocals) and Ethan Torchio (drums) sporting platinum blonde hair.

The band returns to Brazil in November for shows in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
