This Friday, the 13th, Måneskin released the new single “Gossip”, his highly anticipated collaboration with Tom Morello .
The guitarist's participation was announced at the end of December, shortly before the Italian quartet released the single "La Fine" . Like their latest release and other recent Måneskin songs, "Gossip" is an upbeat and radio-friendly track with strong pop and commercial appeal.
The single is part of the band's third studio album, Rush!, which will be released next Friday, January 20th. In addition to the two releases already mentioned, the album also includes the melancholic "The Loneliest ," which was featured on the soundtrack of the Globo , Travessia .
Regarding Tom Morello's participation, vocalist Damiano David commented in a statement: “Tom Morello's vast experience allowed us to receive tips on how to work on tracks without overthinking. We can't thank him enough for his participation in this song. It's an honor for the whole band!”
Guitarist Thomas Raggi adds: “Tom is one of the greatest musicians I’ve ever listened to and learned from. Playing with him is a dream come true. It’s a great gift and a personal highlight of this incredible year.”
