Wolfgang Van Halen released the single "Like a Pastime" this Monday, the 8th. The song is part of Mammoth WVH , announced for the second half of this year.
Just like on their first studio album, Eddie Van Halen's son is responsible not only for the compositions and all the vocals on the album, but also recorded all the musical instruments used on the record.
After releasing “Another Celebration at the End of the World” , WHV presents the second single from the album, called “Like a Pastime”. With a release date announced for September 24th, the new album is simply called Mammoth II and will have 10 songs (see cover and tracklist at the end of the article). Mammoth WVH was officially launched in 2021 when Wolfgang released the project's first album . The work was well-received and earned praise from big names in rock, such as Sammy Hagar and Mark Tremonti , in addition to receiving a Grammy nomination for the moving "Distance," a song in tribute to his late father.
