Mammoth WVH is on tour and performed an acoustic version of "Distance" at a show held last Wednesday, the 30th.

Wolfgang Van Halen , who is responsible for the project, recorded all the songs alone in the studio, but performs with a full band on tour. However, the acoustic performance of the single was performed solely by the musician.

“I know some parts are missing, but I’m doing my best, man. I’m sorry. When it comes to the next song, there are a lot of parts that I’ve decided to do acoustically,” he said before introducing the song (via Ultimate Guitar ).

The song is a tribute to Wolfgang's father, the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen , and reached number one on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart when it was released in March 2021.
