Rammstein has released a behind-the-scenes look at the music video for "Ausländer." The track is part of the band's seventh album, self-titled, released on May 17th.
“Ausländer” presents the band as colonizers and explorers. The video adds a new layer of sociopolitical meaning to the lyrics, which have a double meaning. The “foreigner” in the title can represent a traveler who does not have a fixed abode or a person with multiple sexual partners.
