The biography of Andre Matos , The Maestro of Heavy Metal , the first and only one authorized by the singer's family, will be released in a new edition with extras and unpublished content.
Written by Eliel Vieira and Luis Aizcorbe , the book was a bestseller after its release in 2020 and quickly sold out. The publisher, Estética Torta, admitted in a statement that they had doubts about a new print run due to the high costs of reprinting the work, but decided to proceed with the project after gaining access to a collector's archive about Andre's life and legacy.
According to the publisher, the new edition of the book includes "photos, footage, and even never-before-seen demos from Andre's time in Angra, Shaman, and his solo career." The updated version will hit shelves on November 15, 2021, but is already available for pre-order with a 42% discount.
