EXCLUSIVE RELEASE: Madre Sun, featuring Matt and Eduardo Cavina, release the music video for “Trick Up The Sleeve”

Madre Sun also features Tyson Schenker, son of Michael Schenker, on guitar

With an exclusive release from Wikimetal and Kazagastão , Madre Sun dropped the music video for "Trick Up The Sleeve".

Formed by brothers Eduardo and Matt Cavina and São Paulo-born drummer Flipi Stipp in London, the band also features guitars by Tyson Schenker , son of Michael Schenker of UFO and Scorpions .

“I was working at a motorcycle shop in southwest London when I met Tyson, who started working there the week after I did,” Eduardo Cavina told Wikimetal.

“After a short period of working together, we became friends, and I invited him to see a Cavina show at The Unicorn in Camden Town, which was the last show of the tour we were doing to promote the album 'Howls of Mind'. After the show, Matteus and Tyson met, and we talked a lot about band histories, preferences, and musical influences. That's where the idea of forming the band began to emerge, but we still needed a drummer,” he recalled.

“I already knew Flipi and liked his work from when we lived in São Paulo; he played in bands like Motores , Trêmula , among others. Coincidentally or not, not long after the three of us had decided to start a new band, Flipi contacted me on Instagram inviting me to chat, but at that moment I thought, 'I've found the drummer.'”

Matt Cavina has already spoken about the track:

“The lyrics talk about when you reach a point in life where you look back and don't regret your past, but from that point on you have to start all over again from scratch, and you no longer have any tricks up your sleeve and you don't care if you win or lose, you just want to move forward and roll the dice of life to start the game again, without fear of taking risks. That was exactly the situation my brother Eduardo and I experienced in our transition to starting all over again in England.”

“Trick Up The Sleeve” is the band's second track, which blends classic heavy metal with blues and southern rock.
