All the band members are doing well
Last Saturday, the 27th, Machine Head performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and after the show was involved in a road accident.
During the early morning hours, the band's bus collided with a truck that had missed its exit and desperately crossed the road in an attempt to correct its mistake.
The band shared a video showing the accident, which appears to have been a minor collision, but they reported a major scare that resulted in broken windows. Everyone is doing well.
Machine Head kicked off their tour to promote their new album Catharsis , which was released on January 26th by Nuclear Blast.
Another scary bus accident last night. Everyone is okay.
It's hard to see in the footage, but around 4 AM, as we were leaving our packed show in Albuquerque, our driver Bryon safely avoided what could have been a very serious accident. The camera below the driver doesn't clearly show that this was a 'blind mountain' and a 'blind curve' where we were driving when a truck (that missed its exit) crossed from the left lane of the road to make a nearly impossible right turn.
The slide into the truck with a bus full of passengers pulling a trailer caused our mirror to shatter, Byron's window to be destroyed, and startled everyone who was sleeping, but thanks to his incredible driving skills, nobody got hurt.
"A round of applause for our driver, Bryon!"
