The band rescheduled the cancelled shows.

Recently, Machine Head had to postpone some dates on their Catharsis due to a health issue affecting frontman Robb Flynn.

The lead singer was diagnosed with a lung infection after a show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where the band was forced to end the performance halfway through the set when Flynn began to feel unwell.

The day after the show, the musician went to a doctor who recommended rest and warned him that a virus has been devastating the winter in the United States, leaving countless people sick.

Treatment will not be necessary, but the doctor insisted on "vocal rest." Despite this, Machine Head returned to the stage this Tuesday, the 20th, in Des Moines, Iowa.

The shows that were cancelled will be rescheduled for the second part of the tour, which will take place in the second half of 2018.

The band is promoting their newly released album Catharsis , the successor to Bloodstone & Diamonds (2014).
