“Stop the Bleeding” is the new song and music video from Machine Head in collaboration with Jesse Leach , vocalist of Killswitch Engage .
The track will be on the digital release Civil Unrest , which will also feature the song "Bulletproof," both responses to the murders of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery in the United States. A large portion of the proceeds from the songs will go to the Grassroots Law Project , which represents Floyd, Arbery, Breanna Taylor (also murdered by American police), and their families.
Robb Flynn , vocalist and guitarist of Machine Head, reveals that "Stop the Bleeding" was actually written in 2018, but he realized that his feelings and anger about the situation had been transcribed into the song.
