Machine Head is working on a new album! The band shared behind-the-scenes footage from a studio session and promised new episodes soon.

Robb Flynn and Jared MacEachern reunited in the studio in June 2021. The sessions started "slowly," as the band themselves explain in the video description, but soon ideas for new songs began to emerge, including a track called "Kill Your Enemies."

“Sometimes I just try and write down ideas, even if it’s controversial or polarizing, I just try anyway,” Robb said. “And sometimes it just doesn’t work, I write these crazy lyrics and they’re crap, they don’t fit the music. Other times, they work.”.

At the time the first episode was filmed, Machine Head had just released three songs about grieving the losses from the pandemic and the death of Flynn's mother, called "Become The Firestorm," "Rotten," and "Arrows In Words From The Sky."

For now, Machine Head's tenth studio album remains untitled and without a release date, but it is expected to be released sometime in 2022 .
