The album features fifteen unreleased tracks

Catharsis , this Friday, the 26th

The successor to Bloodstone & Diamonds (2014), the album features fifteen tracks, including "Kaleidoscope" , "Bastards" and the title track.

Catharsis was produced by Robb Flynn and recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Zack Ohren (Fallujah, All Shall Perish) at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California, and was released by Nuclear Blast.

Speaking about the album, Flynn said it's something very different from anything they've done before: “This will probably be the most melodic and groovy album we've ever made. It has a thrash side and a heavy side, but it's very melodic. I'm telling you this so you don't think we're going to give up on Reign In Blood (…) because we're not.”
