Machine Head has announced details of their new studio Unatoned , which is scheduled for release on April 25th via Nuclear Blast .

This will be the 11th album from the band led by vocalist and guitarist Robb Flynn . Pre-order and presale information is available here.

As published on the label's website , Unatoned is a polished album at its sharpest, forged in creative discipline and a will to move forward. The album features melancholic melodies and hard-hitting riffs. The tracks address themes such as lost love and sadness, with thunderous force and undeniable confidence. After eleven albums, Machine Head remains as fierce, relevant, and unstoppable as ever. (via Blabbermouth )

Seth Siro Anton is the artist responsible for the cover art and had previously worked with the American band . Flynn was responsible for the production, as was Zack Ohren , who also acted as sound engineer.
