Machine Head has released three unreleased tracks as a new single. Heavy and dark, the songs “Become The Firestorm”, “Rotten”, and “Arrows In Words From The Sky” were inspired by the pandemic and the death of Robb Flynn .

“The lyrics of these songs took me to places I didn’t want to go, from the bile and negativity in ‘Rotten’ to the nothing-will-defeat-me fury of ‘Become The Firestorm,’ to the title track ‘Arrows,’ which is one of the saddest songs I’ve ever written, but somehow has the power to pull me out of what was a very dark time in my life,” the vocalist said (via Blabbermouth ). “These three songs represent Machine Head better than anything I could try to explain.”

Throughout 2020, the band released a series of singles, including their first song with guitarist Logan Mader in over 20 years, called "My Hands Are Empty ," in November.
