Machine Gun Kelly and Slipknot were among the main attractions at the Riot Fest festival, held in Chicago, United States, last Sunday, the 19th. The singer and rapper, who played Tommy Lee and turned to rock on his latest album , provoked the band during their performance.
According to Loudwire , Kelly took advantage of a break in the show to drop a hint. “Hey, you know what I’m glad I’m not doing? [Glad I’m] not wearing weird masks on stage at 50 years old. Holy shit. But anyway, what’s your favorite candy?”, she said. A video of the moment was shared on social media, but deleted hours later.
According to the portal, the rapper's controversial statement is likely a response to a comment Corey Taylor about new rock artists. "I'm the worst foggy old guy shaking a cane ever. And I hate everything. I hate new rock mostly. I [hate] artists who failed in one genre and decided to go into rock… and I think he knows who he is. But that's another story," the vocalist declared in February .
