Last Saturday, the 19th, Machine Gun Kelly took to the stage at Lollapalooza Argentina and caught the attention of people on the internet for his cover of "Misery Business," a hit by Paramore .
Gun Kelly, who had already released a studio version of the track in March 2020 , provoked the ire of the band's fans both for his choice of song and for the quality of his live performance.
Many Twitter Hayley Williams herself decided to remove from Paramore's setlist due to its slightly misogynistic connotation and encouragement of female rivalry. Others pointed out the musician's lack of stage presence and vocal range.
One internet user wrote, "It's very sad that this guy has a guitar and thinks he's changing the history of rock," while another used biting humor by tweeting, "Right now I'm trying to figure out what legal basis I have to sue MGK for this horrific torture."
