Slipknot fans had the opportunity to get back at Machine Gun Kelly after the recent false accusations against Corey Taylor and the criticism of the rest of the band – and they didn't let it go unanswered.

The musician performed at the Louder Than Life Machine Gun Kelly 's show began, amidst the predominantly metal lineup, several people in the audience raised their middle fingers.

The silent reaction gained more followers as the music progressed, especially from the audience on the adjacent stage who were waiting for Disturbed . As soon as the song ended, the boos began in unison. In the comments of the video that records the booing, internet users declare the heavy metal community's support for Slipknot.

According to Rolling Stone , the audience reported that the reaction was no different throughout the rest of the show, with booing continuing after every song. Another video shows Machine Gun Kelly threatening someone in the audience with a lightsaber from Star Wars after becoming angry.

“I see you, man, I see you fucking crazy in that weird outfit. I’m here for the same reason you are, so it’s all good. Clearly, I’m not going anywhere, so just enjoy it. You want to mess with me? I’m a trained Jedi, bitch,” he said. 

Later, the singer came down from the stage and got into a physical altercation in the photographers' area in front of the stage. A man bypassed security and deliberately pushed the musician, who retaliated with a punch before being dragged away by security and continuing with the show.
