Machine Gun Kelly publicly attacked YUNGBLUD on social media after the latter posted a video discussing fans' financial difficulties and tour cancellations.
The discussion began after YUNGBLUD posted the video and stated that many artists face problems selling tickets because of the high cost of concerts: "Live music has become inaccessible." The post is part of his campaign for cheaper tickets through events like BLUDFEST .
Shortly after, MGK responded aggressively in the comments, calling YUNGBLUD a "spoiled brat." "You canceled a tour because you couldn't sell tickets, blamed it on your mental health, and the next day you were paralyzed at Nobu. Liar. And your tour tickets still cost the same as any other artist's. Shut up, you arrogant and presumptuous rich kid," said MGK.
The two artists have had a close relationship in the past. They collaborated on the song "I Think I'm OKAY," released in 2019, a track that helped bridge the gap between the worlds of pop punk and alternative rock.
Rumors of a falling out between the musicians have been circulating since 2024. Some fans pointed to a rift after YUNGBLUD appeared on the family podcast Osbourne, where Sharon and Kelly Osbourne publicly criticized Machine Gun Kelly. The British singer did not respond to the comments during the conversation.
So far, Yungblud has not directly responded to the statements. However, a spokesperson for the musician gave a statement to TMZ: “ Dom hasn’t commented directly because he’s very busy with his sold-out North American tour and finishing his next album. He really doesn’t have time to get involved with any of that, but we wish MGK all the best.”
