Lzzy Hale supports Ingrid Andress after criticized performance of the American national anthem.

The presentation took place at the Home Run Derby event

Last week, singer Ingrid Andress performed the US national anthem at the Home Run Derby , drawing considerable criticism. A short time later, Lzzy Hale made a post about the issue.

After the performance, the country artist used her X , formerly Twitter, to explain the situation, saying that she was drunk and would be entering a rehabilitation clinic, and also apologized.

Then, the Halestorm came forward and shared a message of support for the singer: “I keep thinking about this poor girl and the national anthem that went terribly wrong. Whether she really doesn't have the ability to sing the national anthem, which even for the greatest singers is a difficult song to sing, or whether she was really drunk…”

“I have a lot of empathy for her now because it seems like she really had the wrong people around her, people she probably trusted blindly, but who didn’t protect her. As a singer, performer, songwriter, artist, musician, woman in this field, and as a human being…”

"I am very fortunate to be surrounded by people who love and care for me, people who are not afraid to have difficult conversations, to do the hard things, to have disagreements, people who loved me in the darkest moments and were willing to bear some of the weight and pain with me when I couldn't carry it all alone."

“We all have flaws and we all have talents, we all have good days, we all have bad days. We all have moments when we choose the wrong thing instead of the right thing. I hope Ingrid takes the time to find peace in all of this, and I hope she finds her tribe to surround herself with… people who will be brave enough to fight alongside her and for her… raising her flag.”

"And to Ingrid, don't let this small moment define you. Where some chose to single you out and judge you in a vulnerable moment, there are those who want to help you let your best self shine."
