vocalist Lzzy Hale has teamed up with country singer Cory Marks for the song "Out In The Rain," which will be featured on his upcoming album, Who I Am.
“What inspired me to be a part of this song was Cory’s heart,” Hale said, “You can feel that he’s singing his truth and you can feel the pain and purgatory he was in when it happened that inspired him to make this song.”.
Lzzy further adds that she found "Out In The Rain" a realistic portrayal of a couple's journey and that, in the end, even after listening to the song several times, Cory doesn't make it clear whether the relationship ended or not: "I think you [the listener] have to decide what happened to them."
Cory Marks' album, Who I Am, will be his debut on Better Noise Music, a label that works with artists such as Five Finger Death Punch, Bad Wolves , and Hellyeah . The album was produced by Kevin Churko , known for his work with FFDP, Ozzy Osbourne , and others.
