The band Lynyrd Skynyrd has announced an extra show in Brazil in 2023. In addition to the show at the Jaguariúna Rodeio Festival , in the interior of São Paulo, the legendary southern rock group will also perform in the state capital in September.
The shows are part of the tour celebrating the group's 50th anniversary, formed in Jacksonville, United States, in 1964. The single performance is confirmed for September 22nd at Espaço Unimed.
Produced by Mercury Concerts, ticket sales will begin this Tuesday, May 16th, at 10 AM, through the Ticket 360 platform. Prices range from R$ 450 (general admission) to R$ 850 (VIP box) for full-price tickets. See details in the service section at the end of this article.
The shows promise a setlist with hits like “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Simple Man” and “Free Bird”. The band's 50th anniversary tour in Brazil will feature the following lineup: Johnny Van Zant (vocals), Rickey Medlocke (guitar), Mark Matejka (guitar), Robert Kearns (bass), Peter Keys (keyboards) and Michael Cartellone (drums).
