Lynyrd Skynyrd released the track "Last of the Street Survivors" yesterday, the 2nd, the band's first new song in eight years.
A few days ago, the band announced that they would be releasing something for fans in social isolation, a gift "from the Skynyrd family to yours," and thanked them for making it possible.
The song – named after the group's farewell tour, which was interrupted due to the coronavirus – recalls moments from their career and band members who are sadly no longer with them.
