In 2023, the Jaguariúna Rodeo Festival will hold its 32nd edition, reinforcing the festival's premise of blending a range of musical genres into its concert lineup. One of the confirmed acts is Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The festival takes place in the interior of São Paulo on September 22, 23, 29, and 30. Information regarding ticket sales and which dates Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform has not yet been released.

The band's 50th anniversary tour in Brazil will feature the following lineup: Johnny Van Zant (vocals), Rickey Medlocke (guitar), Mark Matejka (guitar), Robert Kearns (bass), Peter Keys (keyboards), and Michael Cartellone (drums).

In March, Lynyrd Skynyrd lost the last member of its original lineup with the death of guitarist Gary Rossington .

In a statement, Dale Rossington , Gary's wife, said, "Gary was always the first to say that 'Skynyrd's music is bigger than me or anyone else.' Gary always expressed how timeless the music was, and it was always his goal to keep it alive for his brothers, because that was always their dream." She continued in another excerpt: "His dream will continue thanks to Johnny, Rickey, and the rest of our bandmates. They will continue to carry his legacy on to future generations."

The Jaguariúna Rodeo Festival is produced by Diverti and is part of the Circuito Sertanejo, the largest concert circuit in Brazil.
