Cheap Trick will replace the band at the event
The band Lynyrd Skynyrd, who were scheduled to perform in Brazil at the Solid Rock festival alongside Deep Purple and Tesla, have released a statement announcing that they will no longer be coming to the country.
In the statement, the band explains that the daughter of lead singer Johnny Van Zant has been diagnosed with a serious illness and Johnny will be spending time with her during her treatment.
Therefore, the band canceled their participation in the event, and was replaced by Cheap Trick.
