During an appearance on The Wikimetal Happy Hour , Luis Mariutti spoke about the difficulties he faced in Andre Matos ' solo project after their time together in Shaman and Angra .
According to the bassist , this was a period of conflict due to the differences between playing with the vocalist in a band and playing in a solo project. "We couldn't synchronize, him and I," says Mariutti.
According to the musician, some of the difficulties were also due to the fact that heavy metal wasn't going through a good phase at the time. "We had several problems, and I took on the responsibility of booking shows, going to tour manager , counting t-shirt sales, and really, closing deals was very complicated. That also contributed," he says.
The full story of this period can be found in Luis Mariutti's biographical book, Memórias dos Meus 50 Anos (Memories of My 50 Years) , available for purchase on the bassist's official website .
