The Danish band Lucer releases this Thursday, the 23rd, exclusively on Wikimetal , their new single “Empire” – a powerful song about the power of overcoming your deepest fears, battling and fighting your worst enemies, as described by the band.
“Empire” is considered one of Lucer’s heaviest tracks and is part of a series of singles released by the band to promote their upcoming album, The New World , which will be released in early 2022 via Mighty Music . Other singles previously released exclusively through Wikimetal were “ White Lies ”, “ Trouble ”, and the title track “ The New World ”.
Regarding the exclusive premiere for Brazilian fans, the band commented: “The song 'Empire' is by far one of the heaviest songs in Lucer's history. The heavy anthem in the middle [of the song] and the outro , combined with the melody of the chorus, is the pinnacle of Lucer's new sound. We took a risk with this song and, for us, it paid off, so being able to share it with so many people in Brazil is a great honor. Thank you!”
