Luana Dametto , from Crypta , will be one of the special guests at the show by Vimic , the band of drummer Joey Jordison , who died in 2021.

The show, presented by the Joey Jordison Charitable Fund , will take place in Los Angeles on October 3rd at the Teragram Ballroom. The performance will not only honor Joey's memory but also celebrate the release of the band's debut album.

Vimic will be supported by Wednesday 13 , who worked with Joey Jordison in the band Murderdolls , as well as some very special guests. Exclusive event merchandise will also be available.

Luana Dametto announced her participation.

Our first guest will be Luana Dametto, from Crypta. The drummer made a post on her social media announcing it:

"I believe most of you know how big a fan I am of Joey, and how strongly he influenced me when I was starting to play drums back then, how he shaped me, and how much all of this means to me."

Luana also mentioned that she will be playing a new song from Vimic's debut album.

That being said, I'm honored to announce that I'll be participating in the launch show for Vimic's new album! I'll be playing a new song with other amazing drummers and friends. It will be in Los Angeles on October 3rd! We'll be celebrating Joey's life and work, along with his family and friends. I hope to see you there! It will be an unforgettable event.

The announced show was made possible thanks to a fundraising campaign launched by the late drummer's family on what would have been his 50th birthday.

The campaign raised over US$95,000 (R$535,000 reais at the current exchange rate) to fund the release of Vimic's highly anticipated debut album, Open Your Omen .

Tickets will go on sale starting Friday, June 6th through the Ticketmaster website.

Therefore, the proceeds from the event will go to the Joey Jordison Charity Fund's partnership with Broken Strings , a non-profit organization in Iowa that distributes guitars to children in each school district. The family would like to be able to do the same, but with drums.
