The band's first studio album should be released soon

Billie Joe Armstrong, frontman of Green Day, has a new band called The Longshot, a project he revealed through his social media that he recently created.

Now, with a self-titled EP, the group makes its debut with three unreleased tracks, “Love is for Losers”, “Taxi Driver” and “Chasing A Ghost”. The new work has a sound similar to Green Day but also possesses a strong identity of its own.

The work is already available on all streaming platforms and, according to a message on the band's official Instagram, the first album, Love is for Losers , will come "sooner or later, probably sooner".

Meanwhile, Green Day is on tour promoting their latest studio album, Revolution Radio, released in 2016.
