The attractions, which had been canceled due to bad weather, resumed about two hours later, but fans complained about the lack of information

The crowd that arrived at Lollapalooza on Saturday around 3 pm was prevented from entering the festival. The gates were closed, and little information reached those waiting outside. The reason was the bad weather, which promised heavy rain and strong winds that could cause accidents.

One of the ticket holders, Jade Hardt, gave up waiting for information. “Nobody here said anything, they’re just not letting anyone in. We paid for the festival, got here and were turned away.” She left and didn’t want to wait in the rain.

Inside, the shows were interrupted. Rashid, the Brazilian rapper, left the stage, and little information was given to those who remained. An announcement from the Perry stage informed the audience that they should move away from the stages and wait. Erico Veiga, who was watching the show, said that "the problem was the lack of information," but that he was hopeful that things would be resolved and the festival would resume.

Fan Gabrielle Vianna said that some security guards informed the audience that they should evacuate the venue and that they could return later. However, officially, T4F, the company that organizes the festival, only announced the pause in the shows through social media.

Two hours later, around 5 PM, the shows gradually resumed. Snow Patrol took the stage late and played for only half an hour. The other shows started on schedule.
