Lollapalooza Brazil 2022: Festival announces mask requirement and COVID-19 vaccination.

The event takes place between March 25th and 27th at the Interlagos racetrack in São Paulo.

The first edition of Lollapalooza Brazil in two years is approaching, and the festival organizers have updated the public on the safety measures required due to the pandemic, including mandatory mask use and COVID-19 for access to the event.

In a statement published on social media, Lollapalooza explained that the protocols follow the recommendations of the São Paulo State Government and the São Paulo City Government, but these requirements may still change. 

Therefore, to access the event, it will be necessary to present proof of vaccination (physical or virtual) with at least two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. The use of masks will be mandatory on the premises of the Interlagos Racetrack, and may only be removed for the consumption of food and beverages.

Held between March 25th, 26th and 27th at the Interlagos racetrack in São Paulo, the festival is expected to receive more than 245,000 people, of which at least 30% are tourists, as reported by UOL .

The lineup includes acts for rock fans, with The Strokes, Machine Gun Kelly, Tunstile, Detonautas, Miley Cyrus, A Day To Remember, Alexisonfire, Menores Atos, Jane's Addiction , and Foo Fighters. See the breakdown of acts by day and the full lineup here .
