The mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes , confirmed that Lollapalooza 2022 will take place in Brazil on the dates previously set by the event organizers: March 25, 26, and 27 of next year.
Nunes said the festival will take place if 70% of São Paulo's population is vaccinated against Covid-19 by the event date. For now, the government's agenda foresees that all adult residents of the city will receive at least the first dose by the end of August.
The event organizers stated that tickets purchased by fans for the 2021 edition will remain valid for the new dates. Those who cannot attend can request a credit for their ticket, usable at any event produced by T4F, until the end of 2022.
