The site where Dimebag Darrell was murdered will be transformed into a residential area.

The concert hall will be replaced by approximately 100 affordable apartments.

The Alrosa Villa concert venue is located where guitarist Dimebag Darrell was fatally shot, will become a new residential area in the city of Ohio (via Loudwire ).

According to The Columbus Dispatch , approximately 100 affordable apartments will be built on the site formerly occupied by a rock concert venue. The legislative proposal calls for the construction of three four-story buildings that will include apartments with one to four bedrooms.

On December 8, 2004, Damageplan was performing at The Alrosa Villa when a gunman entered the club and opened fire on the guitarist and the crowd. The shooting killed guitarist Dimebag Darrell, club employee Erin Halk , the band's security guard Jeffrey "Mayhem" Thompson , and spectator Nathan Bray . The gunman, Nathan Gale , was subsequently killed by police officer James Niggemeyer .
