It all started while the singer was having fun curiously repeating the word "Oma," which means grandmother in German. Then, shouting "Du! Du Hast! Du Hast Mich!" (You! You got me! You got me!), she danced and imitated the melody of the song. Finally, she yelled a loud and clear "Nein" (No) and said: "Oh, Hamburg, I'm having fun!".
Even though the fans were caught off guard, they didn't hesitate to praise the brief cover. "That was the most dramatic 'Nein' I've ever heard," declared one user on TikTok. Lizzo also didn't waste any time and left a "Hello" with a smiley face on the post.
Furthermore, fans even signed petitions urging the artists to collaborate and perform together on stage. The rapper is currently on tour promoting the album Special (2022).
"Du Hast" is part of the album Sehnsucht (1997) and the lyrics tell the story of a marriage engagement. The Rammstein song was so successful that it was featured on the soundtrack of the film Matrix .
