AC/DC 's potential visit , the production company Live Nation issued a statement denying the information regarding the band's confirmed shows in Brazil.

Rumors about the long-awaited arrival of the Australian band gained strength – again – last Thursday, the 24th, when journalist Ancelmo Gois published in his column in the newspaper O Globo that the band had booked three shows in Brazil, which would be announced in the coming days.

According to Gois's investigation, the group was scheduled to perform three shows in Brazil. All of them would be at the Interlagos racetrack in São Paulo, each with a capacity of one hundred thousand people.

The journalist also said that the event would be produced by Live Nation. Contacted by Veja magazine on the afternoon of Thursday the 22nd, however, the company "denied the information without further ado. No announcement was made through the group's official channels either."

Currently consisting of Angus Young (guitarist), Brian Johnson (vocalist), Stevie Young (guitarist)
Matt Laug (drummer), and Chris Chaney (bassist), the band took the Power Up Tour to 13 American stadiums , including some of the world's most iconic and historic stadiums. In addition, they played 24 shows across Europe in 2024.

AC/DC has played in Brazil three times throughout their career. The band participated in Rock in Rio in 1985, returned in 1996 with the Ballbreaker , and most recently in 2009 with the Black Ice at Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo.

AC/DC releases documentary

AC/DC released a documentary focused on the band's origins in Sydney. Produced by Australian filmmaker and journalist Tom Compagnoni , Exploring AC/DC's Forgotten Sydney: Lost Landmarks Of Rock History is 30 minutes long.

The book takes a tour through the city, showing the first rehearsal spaces, concert venues, and the house in Burwood, demolished in January. This was the place where Angus and Malcolm Young learned to play guitar and would form the group years later.
