Live Nation , the world's leading concert promoter, is advising all of its artists to return home due to the coronavirus.
On Thursday the 12th, the live entertainment giant told employees that it recognizes the concerns governments are raising about large gatherings of people and, taking this into consideration, the company will postpone ongoing tours until the end of the month.
The statement also alerts employees about the disease and offers work-from-home options to all employees, asking that no one go to the Beverly Hills office until the end of March. In early April, the production company executives will review the situation and then plan the remaining tours.
The tours affected by the announcement include Kiss, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tool, Metallica, Billie Eilish, Cher, Post Malone, and more. The company has a contract with these artists stating that they can only tour with their production. In the case of Brazil, these shows were to be produced by Time for Fun under their supervision, but now the production company is coming to Brazil, having held its first shows last year.
