Lita Ford's last album was released in 2012
In an interview with KBack Radio , Lita Ford said she is "halfway through" her next album, the successor to Living Like a Runaway , released in 2012.
“It’s simply incredible,” Ford said. “I was listening to it all day yesterday. It’s a truly amazing album. I can’t wait for people to hear it too, it’s coming out soon.”
Ford said she was “going through a difficult time in my life” during the production of Living Like A Runaway , “and music was my outlet. I put everything into the music because I didn’t want to start drinking, doing drugs, or hurting myself in any other way, so I just danced – I put everything into my music, and it really shows in the lyrics of this album,” she said. “They’re true – it’s a true story, this whole album. But the next album we’re doing is something I’ve had in mind for a long time and it’s resurfaced and I’m bringing it to life, and it’s really amazing.”
