Lita Ford reports abusive relationship with Tony Iommi.

Guitarist describes in book

Guitarist Lita Ford will release her new autobiography this month, "Lita Ford - Living Like A Runaway: A Memoir," in which, among various stories from her life, she recounts her relationship with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi. Ford describes the relationship as abusive and says that during their time together, Iommi was violent on several occasions.

Ford says that during the flight to meet Tony Iommi's mother, the guitarist "out of nowhere punched me in the eye ." Also, shortly after their engagement, Ford recounts:

“After snorting a lot of cocaine, he got angry and choked me until I was unconscious. When I woke up, I saw him holding a chair over my head. It was a large leather chair with nails in the arms, and he was ready to throw it at my face. I rolled over and luckily I was quick enough that it didn't hit me, and the chair shattered on the floor.”.
