Lita Ford and Joan Jett performed together in The Runaways.

The Runaways achieved success with songs like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens Of Noise,” but the band broke up in 1979. In a recent interview, Lita Ford said she doesn't think she'll reunite with Joan Jett . “I don’t think I’ll work with Joan again,” Ford said. “I know Cherie Currie and I could, and Vicki Blur did the video for ‘Mother’ for me in 2013…it feels like you’re with family when you do things like that.”

In a 2017 interview with Guitars Exchange , Ford spoke about trying to reconnect with Jett: “Cherie and I tried to get Joan to work with us. We had dinner, called, and emailed her, but we never really got a response. I think it was her manager who didn’t want her to do anything.”

Lita Ford is currently working on her next solo album, which is inspired by her life struggles. Read more here .
