Over 150 musicians came together to perform a thrilling orchestral version of Iron Maiden's "Fear Of The Dark. The result was a spine-tingling 12-minute performance, featuring remote recordings from musicians around the world, including Brazil, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Argentina, China, and New Zealand, among others.

The mastermind behind the project was the conductor of the Swedish Symphony Orchestra, Ulf Wadenbrandt , who is also the principal guest conductor of the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra. Regarding the choice of "Fear Of The Dark," Ulf reportedly said: "This song has everything, from great melodic lines full of energy to a perfect beat. It's a magical arrangement that unleashes the energy and fantastic sound of the orchestra. Iron Maiden simply wrote a great song that works perfectly for symphony orchestras and their wonderful timbre."

Ulf Wadenbrandt's work usually requires him to travel to different cities and countries to conduct various musicians in his concerts, but this was put on hold due to the pandemic. That's when the idea arose to bring people together virtually to continue the show.

“I want to emphasize how important music and culture are in these difficult times,” he explained. “Music makes you feel good and helps people develop. We need to show the world that we are needed and that we need to play. I brought everyone together, from globally renowned musicians and excellent music teachers to talented amateurs and music students and cultural schools around the world. I want to show the value of diversity and emphasize how everyone is important in the music ecosystem.”
